HighVu Excel is a modular, Enterprise Class, CCTV

system, allowing you to expand your security installation

as requirements grow and change. Comprising of

different components for management, video, storage

and viewing, HighVu Excel’s unique architecture

enables additional modules to integrate into the system

seamlessly, creating a single, powerful solution.

Designed as a centrally located CCTV system, HighVu

Excel offers real-time, high resolution recording and

viewing of 256 simultaneous video streams from more

than1024 cameras.

Real Time Performance

Real time image capture offers the capability to

continually record and replay all cameras at upto D1

resolution, in real time, with lip-synchronised audio

available on each camera.

Unlimited Integration

To deliver a fully bespoke enterprise system, Dedicated

Micros uses its unique PowerScript application to offer

full bi-directional integration with Security, Access

Control, Building Management and Information Systems.

Viewing Flexibility

HighVu Excel’s Digital Matrix provides viewing and

control of 256 simultaneous video streams from more

than1024 cameras across 48 monitors. Operators

are able to control and view video in any monitor

combination or layout they require. Through the

powerful Monitor Expansion Unit (MEU), customers

can completely conﬁgure the layout of their control

room, mixing composite and high deﬁnition monitors

(including the option of digital video walls, scalable to the

customers’ needs) as required, providing the user with

the ultimate in viewing ﬂexibility - including the ability

to view megapixel high deﬁnition images in their native

resolution.

AnalyticsCapable

Taking advantage of the core technology developed and

shared by the AD Group of companies, our analytics

solutions use the power of NetVu Connected technology,

allowing them to be seamlessly embedded within any

AnalyticsCapable product, such as HighVu Excel. This

unique approach allows the system to be upgraded

retrospectively allowing the customer to deploy analytics

applications as and when required without having to

replace any part of the installation.

Taking full advantage of the seamless integration and

scalability that NetVu Connected technology offers, users

can add any AnalyticsCapable solution, such as Object

Counting, to an existing HighVu Excel installation,

merging analytics into the existing the solution.

Our portfolio of analytics solutions are available as

software upgrades and include ANPR (Automatic

number Plate Recognition), Object Left and Removed,

People Counting and Perimeter Protection (know as

Virtual Tripwire).

High Reliability

As would be expected, reliability is a key feature

of HighVu Excel. Rather than relying on PC based

technology, HighVu Excel contains a fully embedded

architecture, ensuring that the system remains reliable

and stable, even as the solution grows and changes.

Managed Storage

Care has been taken in protecting the storage elements

of HighVu Excel, with Managed Storage - speciﬁcally

designed for CCTV applications - offering environmental

control and health monitoring of the individual hard disks.

This consistent monitoring ensures the optimal operating

condition for the storage is maintained, maximising disk

life. In addition, health reporting and ﬁeld serviceable

drives ensure that maintenance can be planned and

undertaken with minimum system disruption.

Enhanced User Interface

HighVu Excel is equipped with enhanced user features to

greatly improve the operator experience. These include

Point&Go Telemetry Control, interactive on screen

maps, ePTZ of all connected cameras and the facility to

de-warp ﬁsheye lenses to provide a wider ﬁeld of view

from a single camera.
